white boy...why

finally got my grippy hands on this

two things. first of all I wish any review would've said this book features a bunch of side characters that you simply cannot care about, and second that unfourtunely they're so shallow and boring it's not like you're enjoying yourself reading about them. should've stuck with the protagonist even if the book ended up having 200 pages only.

Coincidentally while I start this book, I find myself lost in constant thought about Joni Mitchell and her music. A pleasant surprise that, deciding out of a spurt to read this book, the first chapter starts off with the mention of none other than Joni Mitchell and her infamous album 'Blue'.

what a privilege it is to be able to read through such an intelligent and inspirational woman's diaries, notes, scrabbles, everything that to her meant something.

Marianne is the most insufferable, obnoxious character I've read in a while

why has it actually been really good. a few cringe parts here and there but most emotionally mature ya book I've read in my life

I've read many books with annoying male characters but Toru is on an other level.
