I have very mixed feelings about this book so far.
The setting and the world building? I’m here for it. It’s such a vibe and just so calming and I honestly feel like I love there. The plot? Idk I think this is where it’s going downhill….. it’s just so slow and the writing style is not exactly my cup of tea. I’m not going to DNF just yet……😶

I’m kinda not motivated to read this rn but I’m going to keep going and see if I get into it.

This book is so imaginitive so far. Like how does Haddix come up with this stuff.... I'm enjoying it although I do have to say that I am the tiniest bit confused, and I just think sometimes my brain can't handle books that require you to figure things out and imaginate. Like here I am asking myself if everyone is a robot and is there a singular whatnot school. I don't think im supposed to be thinking these thoughts
