I’ve not read a book as dense as this in a long time… slowly but surely making progress

Really loving this book! I am enjoying learning more about plants from both scientific and indigenous perspectives.

Last chapter was about how the author wanted to be a good mother. Lately the struggles of being a woman have felt like a hefty burden. I want to be a good mother as well.

This girl… her life… it makes sense but still baffles me

Oh my gosh. No wonder this is a classic. So many men act like Mr. Rochester, however, not many women act like Jane. I felt this chapter (27) was very relatable to not just me, but to everyone.

Both Mr. Rochester and Jane express their emotions so well to each other and both are so hurt, however, both take such different approaches on expressing how they feel.

May Mr. Rochester never find me in my life again.

Poor jane i can’t wait until her true personality starts to approach. She is a lovely lady; comparison is the thief of joy
