Doing a re-read of Verity for my book club! I gave this 5⭐️ the first time I read it almost three years ago and I really hope I still love it 😅

I somehow pre ordered the same book from two different retailers not once, not twice, but THREE times this year! 🥲 idk how I keep forgetting I already ordered it

It’s been so long since I’ve read a book over 600 pages long 😅

dnf for now because I am so fucking bored

Ughhh I am desperate to read a horror book that actually terrifies me. Like, give me nightmares. Fill me with dread. Make me need to sleep with a light on.

While I’ve read a lot of horror with great stories, almost none have truly scared me and I just don’t think im reading the right books??

Okay I love Lyla and shes pretty much the only reason I’m still reading this book.

I have a love/hate relationship with this series and I’m really hoping this conclusion will finalize my love for it!

Whyyyy must the FMC be so annoying???
