I bet it was May and Cassie who posted Reese’s picture and I wonder if Reese is being kept at the family’s house whose daughter went missing years ago. Elliot is too obvious a suspect though I still don’t like or trust him

I’m so glad Reese made up with her mom before whatever happens next, almost want to stop reading here and pretend it’s a happy ending 😭😅

So concerned about both Wyatt and Elliot, they both have a motive and they are aggressive at times, hiding their negative side

Wyatt is just too suspicious and his side of things isn’t adding up, he’s been escalating all book and it makes me wonder if he actually hurt his parents, I think it was his face in the window Courtney saw at the beginning of the book. Can’t determine his motive yet but I’m on the edge of my seat

Very concerned about Wyatt’s involvement though feel like he’s just a red herring to distract me from Daniel.
He’s obviously not innocent but none of the men in this story are to be fair, plus he’s probably scared Daniel will hurt his sister? Or scared in general, he obviously heard the attack if he wasn’t knocked out during it, with the bruising on his chest?

Secondly: dude I knew the necklace Daniel gave Reese was a trophy from Kylie!! Not to mention both girls wearing pink, a little too coincidental

Ms. Bell clearly knows more than she says, have a feeling she’s related to Daniel. Daniel might’ve killed the girl that’s missing right now and Ms. Bell buried her in an unmarked grave in order to protect him since he would’ve been a minor at the time… “just a kid”. And now Reese, the only one who knows that grave is there, is missing…

He’s 24!?! What is with the men in this town being creeps towards the 17 and 10 year old??? Girl run!

Never trust a boy who enjoys scaring you, testing your boundaries, cause this kid really seems to enjoy having some sort of power over Reese. This is the third time he’s scared her and we haven’t even gotten to the conversation her little sister overheard yet…

Reese is going to give me a heart attack lol
I’m so worried for her safety meeting a boy in the woods in the middle of the night, and him trying to get her high in a secluded area.
Also her uncle is acting incredibly weird, but I can’t decide if I consider him a real suspect or not

Also might be wrong about Reese’s feelings for her best friend, but also the guy she has a crush on has long hair so 🤷🏽
Also also, nervous about both the teen boy who was hanging outside their cabin and this man who drinks at 7am and gives both Reese & her sister weird looks, red flags from both of them.

Very concerned about Courtney being locked in the lodge with the two girls, not convinced Ms. Doll is actually calling the cops, especially since Courtney can’t hear anything through the door when she should. Definitely more of a thrilling read than the last “thriller” I read

Need to take off my sapphic glasses cause I’m imagining the real reason Reese is upset at her best friend “replacing” her is because she has a crush on her and hasn’t realized it yet 😅

Nolan compared loosing his job in tech to “something out of the hunger games”???

Very interesting choice to have Reese only refer to her parents in her head by their names, can’t decide if it’s cause she’s a teenager or because the author wants us to follow along easier

It’s weird that Drake hasn’t gone after more people close to Alexa since he’s trying to turn her, only had her get attacked twice to try to push her over the edge, but hasn’t threatened her family or the girl in her charge?? Very odd thing for someone supposedly obsessed with Alexa

Agent Barrett calls Alexa a legend in the FBI and mentions he read her file, but the first time we get his POV he only mentions her distrust of the FBI like a typical small town cop would and doesn’t mention anything about how she’s not how he expected in his mind or anything hinting that he knew her FBI background. Took me out of the story since allegedly no one knows about this

The switching of pov’s is really taking the thrill out of this thriller :/

Had to check midway through reading to verify the authors gender, writes women like men tend to write women…
