I need something light to read. The last couple of books were too heavy and too emotional.

Feel like I’ve read this some years ago. I know I saw the movie. The book feels vaguely familiar.

Couldn’t finish it. Stopped midway through. The non stop piling up of names, objects, and references that I have to constantly look up got tiresome. I’m not an expert on surrealism. And I wasn’t ready for that much thinking.

Hating the book so far. It's like Stephen King's 'The Dome' for teens with a good helping of X-Men thrown into the mix.
The only thing that keeps me going is the hours countdown. What are they counting down to?
Let's see if this will be enough to keep me going to the end.

I can't handle this book. Child 44 was bad. This is even worse. Why did I ever start it?!

About 10% into the book and already hating the main characters. Gotta love people who do nothing but wallow through the bog of their feelings. Thought we did away with those characters in the 19th century literature.

Just starting. 1300 pages, according to my Kindle. Do I dare to embark on such read?

Really liking this one. Enjoying writing by an intelligent and erudite author.
