So many current issues (maybe too many) in one book, and I'm not even halfway finished. I love that I chose this book for Domestic Violence Awareness month as that's the theme/major plot line of the book.

I think the authors could have chosen a different name for the main character, Lily (just like It Ends With Us). These authors also chose domestic violence like Colleen Hoover.

I had to stop at this page and not the end of the chapter to just soak in these lines.
"...feeling a constant, unfulfilled longing for some kind of happiness almost like it was a prize I could win, I had finally come to understand that not getting what you want is the trick to it all. Because not getting what you want forces you to appreciate what you already have."
Mic drop. I'm going to marinate on this passage.

Killer plot, relatable characters, but not a realistic ending or timeline.

Love, love, love this story and characters! A magical story.

Love this mystery! Great twists!
