Reading the interviews that showcase how racist thought is obscured by color-blind and deracialized/depoliticized views is exhausting. It is so frustrating to read these things and get distracted by how obvious their biases are, all the while knowing that my biases are merely more subtle perhaps and obscured from my own view.
