Reading the interviews that showcase how racist thought is obscured by color-blind and deracialized/depoliticized views is exhausting. It is so frustrating to read these things and get distracted by how obvious their biases are, all the while knowing that my biases are merely more subtle perhaps and obscured from my own view.

Had to return this to library today because it was an inter-library loan. Amazing book and I will need to get a copy again to finish it.
