Meh it’s OK…🫩

Although this is a decent story--it is a slow burn. I am just not a big slow burn reader. It is enough to keep me engaged but only when I think about moving on to another book. The book started off action packed and then for me gets a bit "stuck" in home renovation and love stories.

I stuck with it---even though I was not comfortable with some of the content. I find it intriguing because I am a huge binge watcher of "HOARDERS". This book looks at how this disease has an effect and affect on those it touches. The person with the illness and all those around her.

This book is capturing all the feels of the small town that I come from...even a local hang out called "The Chat and Chew"! There is a quarry that plays a major role in this story hauntingly similar myths surround a watering hole in Two Buttes Co...

Trying to hang in there...this one is close to a #DNF. It is very depressing, so if you gravitate toward depressing story lines-this may be for you. I am listening on Libby
