Arnie's version of motivational talk: "Turn your TV off. Throw your machines out the window. Save your excuses for someone who cares. Get to work." I must admit that I like this!

Written in the seventies but has a fifties feel. The mores and morals and all of that seem outdated.

That first story made little sense. Should it have? Dunno.

Intelligible and intelligent. Fits in with what I know from reading his biography.

Just figured out what I like about this series. It's all in the present tense, sense and time. The story flows so much better when that's so.

Not sure why I'm reading this. I guess I just want there to be some magic in the world and so I'm looking for it.

Takes me about four minutes to read one percent so that's, what? about 400 minutes to read the lot? About six and a half hours? Hmm.

I don't really get the depths of this. I'm only skimming the surface. That said, I get it on a non-thinking level. I think.
