Even if you think you know that it’s horrible, it is SO. MUCH. WORSE

This should be required reading, I cannot stop thinking about the horrors described here

Half of this book is about namedropping the events of previous books in the GrishaVerse, it really irks me

You know that feeling where you're well on your way through 4 books already, but a fifth one catches your eye and now you're reading 5 books at the same time and you have your designated breakfast-book, lunch-book, subway-book, procrastination-book and dinner-book? and you feel like you just can't possibly get enough of reading???

Look, it’s not that it’s bad, it’s just that so far I haven’t really encountered a good enough justification to bring these characters back. Since they were prominent in a trilogy and duology that already got their resolutions, it feels like the characters don’t have much room to grow, and Leigh Bardugo writes about them as if they were already perfect…

Hmm, I don’t know how I feel about this so far. I should love it, as it has all of the characters I loved from the first two series, but it feels lacking somehow ?
