As some one who grew up as a military brat, joined the military and married a man in the military this author really needs to update her knowledge on military workings. No you can not stay at the same assignment as a Col, no you do not get the upper hand in assignments.

What!? You are going to tell me I’m supposed to find it hot that he’s staying celibate b/c he wants to stay in charge. A man choosing power/being in charge over love? Ya no that is not hot. That’s par for the course.

Im reading something very different from everyone else this is not a good book
