fuckingg hell the book went back to the library at 90% and i spent too long hating it for it to not count towards my goodreads goal. i need to get it back and finish it wow.

omg this book is like if i wrote a book. snazzy lines, convoluted structure and plots, pretentious language and theory for show more than anything. the themes are so evident and yet so poorly argued that i find it hard to pay attention to. i’m being very harsh out of self-hatred and confusion, neither of which admittedly are the author’s fault. i read the last installation two years ago now.

am i stupid or was feminism really so contradictory?

when a girl died he was sad because it made the magic school lose its charm. not because he was grieving for her or felt unsafe, but because he was worried someone might find out that he was partially responsible. dnf.

he just described someone’s breast’s as gropable. also classism.

im not even done with this book yet, but it’s introspective beats disturb me. does every man evaluate a woman’s appearance so critically??
