Getting frustrated by the inaccuracy of the legal system details. It's not on Lila to prove her innocence, the police have to prove she's guilty! They didn't even mention fingerprints! No one asked about who could have access to Lila's locker! She also wouldn't have casually been told she's under arrest after she's in the jail cell they'd have to have read her her rights first!

This book is FUN and spooky and reading it just glides

Author attempts to be woke by giving the FMC's bff a girlfriend (romantic) but on multiple mentions of said girlfriend, has not even bothered to give her a name.

"You can always find me at the beach, Arizona. Unless, of course, the sun is too bright"

I was really enjoying this book and then I got to Part 2 and it's 40 years earlier following completely different characters and I'm so lost 😭

Gonna keep going assuming they're characters we know but don't know we know yet?
