So. Fucking. Good

I don’t even know how I feel or what to say honestly. I really love this book and the way Bailey writes the characters makes them feel so real, so, well I mean I’m gasping, laughing, upset, and going through every emotion while reading. To me that is defines a good read.

I was in the worst reading slump but this pulled me out of it. I am DEVOURING THIS. I will say sometimes I get a little lost with just how much is going on, but Bailey’s ability to build characters who aren’t even technically there anymore?!?! Beautiful

Well, one of the longest reading slumps of my life put me at chapter 40 in this book then I never read again. I mean joking bc I’m reading it right now and have greatly made progress (in last part) but fr.

Ok this is such a random thought but I am reading about Clotho and the priestesses. I was like they sound familiar only to realize it’s literally that priestess from Star Stable.

Literally bringing back my childhood.

Also I am really loving how much this book is about the politics. That is the shit I LOVE so I am so hype for the rest of this!

Ok but can I say I don’t get Ferye.

Like if I were her I would be so happy Rhys was my mate. I would probably piss my fucking pants and she is having a temper tantrum.

Obviously he didn’t tell you bitch you were literally about to marry Tampon.

This book is getting so good and I am loving Rhys and Ferye rn. Like the back and fourth tension is insane. Rhys is hubby 🫶🏻

I again am having to cut myself short and go to sleep.

I am so excited to get to see more of Nesta tbh. I love her. And Cassian/Az are constantly making me fall in love.

I’m really glad I restarted this series and forced my way through ACOTAR. It’s really starting to pick up for me and I’m really getting involved now that Tampon is gone 😅

I want to keep reading but I’ll miss class tomorrow.

The first half of the book (The Promise) was good in the sense that it had amazing world building and I really was able to visualize this complex beautiful setting. But it was a little slow for me and I am really enjoying the second half of the book at Clairdelune as it goes not into the characters.

The book has amazing world building but then reads a little slow for my liking.
