Listening to this again during my commute. So good.

This started out pretty strong...but I'm losing interest. I haven't picked it up in a few days, and have no interest in picking it back up. Everyone is simply too immature. I also hate it when girls call each other 'bitch' as a term of endearment. It reminds me of the plastics from Mean Girls. And it seems like all the girls call each other bitch 'endearingly'. It's not endearing. It's annoying.

Do you all accept all friend requests? I've recently gotten a few from men who are ONLY following women, and I find that creepy.

I LOVED this book until now. Now I kind of want to DNF. Some of you would LOVE the ending. But for me...nope. Blah. To finish, or not to finish? That is the question.

Jacob's anxiety ridden inner monologue sounds just like mine. The over thinking we do is REAL and so incredibly annoying and exhausting. I feel seen.

This is so good, Abby Jimenez is so good at creating realistic, well-rounded, imperfect, but likeable characters. Not mention that the narration for both FMC and MMC (Zachary Webber...who knew one could crush on a voice!?) are AMAZING!!

"I kiss my teeth as I think..." What does kiss my teeth mean? This is at least the 2nd time this phrase has been used.

Still so good...so so so good. So amazingly good. However, climate change is mentioned & how before they discovered america there were no words for tornado in europe due to lack of tornadoes, but now there's tornadoes in Italy and spain. But the first recorded tornado in Europe was in England back in 1054. First recorded tornado in Italy was 1067 in Umbria. So they aren't new.(I do believe in climate change btw!)

omg...this is SO good. I don't even like sci-fi...but this is so good!

Neither character is likeable...at ALL. And having your cousin play your pretend bf is weird...and this is all SO immature. But I only have 3 hours left to listen, so might as well finish it...I'm over half done. But this whole plot and characterization is stupid. I don't understand why EITHER of them are interested in each other.

I am LOVING this so far...but I have a feeling that, like most of Susie Tate's books, I'm going to be in the minority with this one...

Taking a mini-pause with this book. 3rd book in a row in this series...and they're apparently all of the same people. And they're annoying. And there's just no communication what so ever which is even MORE annoying...And there's asshole behavior, then just being a stupid not worth dick behavior. So we'll see if I end up DNFing this.

So far this is my least favorite of the series...why is EVERYONE in this town bullies? What is in the water??

I'm reading this for my "want to read shelf" the longest Bingo. 76 books in and still haven't gotten Bingo!

This is strangely FACINATING! I never knew I could find tuberculosis so interesting!

Anyone have book recommendations? I'm in a bit of a rut...I feel like both goodreads and my kindle are recommending the same 10 books that I don't want to read. :(

This is HILARIOUS. at times a bit repetitive, but so so funny. They have so many people actually commenting (all the actors who are still alive, Jimmy Kimmel, Bill hader, beau bridges.... many more that I can't remember)

...is this supposed to be sexy??? Is referencing it as a vajayjay ever at all necessary??? Mind you, this is all while she has bruised ribs and is in extreme pain. Not exactly a time I can imagine anyone wanting 'sexy time'. (Though... is really not sexy but I think the author is trying)

A person is found with no pulse...cpr is performed and they come to... and no one takes said person to the hospital??? We don't know how long they haven't had a pulse (brain/organ damage??), or WHY she had no pulse....wtf? Is everyone stupid? (No to mention those ribs would be at the very least BRUISED)

So far the FMC isn't very likeable. The fact that this mansion supposedly hosts weddings all the time is extremely unprofessional, and just... well, so far while the writing style is fun-- this is just so not realistic. Maybe the author never worked in the service industry? This wedding just doesn't make sense...

If I'm listening to this...it's a pretty clear indicator that I'm super stressed and my anxiety has been an issue. But this does help...every time, this story/production helps.

I'm not sure I like this writing style. I feel like I'm reading a myth-- not in a good way. There are some details that make the writing somewhat beautiful, but no details to actual emotions-- makes everything feel distanced despite this being written in 1st person. I hope it gets better...

He is just SO freaking sweet and patient and...ugh, sigh.

listening to this because my favorite narrators narrate it: Andie Arndt and Zachary Webber. As always their narration is amazing. And as always with this author, the book itself is alright. Forgettable, but not bad.

So far I like it--likeable characters. Though for the h is hinted to have gone through, her personality only shows vulnerability when it's a plot point. Otherwise all vulnerability is forgotten about--which I'm finding really annoying.
