once again total wrong number of pages but my edition (an absolute rare gem) doesn't exist on here.

page number is tooootally off, im more a third of the way through. a reread from when i was in middle school most likely. very famous old French detective story

still no pages but i finished partners in crime, a tommy and tuppence short story book. tommy and tuppence are as entertaining as always but the stories had very obvious plot twists and left you wondering if you had actually read the end of them 30 minutes later. the parodying of famous detectives was great and really fun to guess at.

i'm not 30% done but i did read 1 story out of 3 and it shows this book as having 0 pages????????????? anyway 1st one was okay, read the word alarum enough for a lifetime. one plot twist was pretty obvious (had it narrowed down to two people most of the way), one was actually very surprising and one was puzzling and made no sense. 3/5

(there arent that many pages in the ebook version thank god bc i cannot wait to be done with it (did collins take a big hit on the head between the series and this))

there's a mistake in the french and it's stressing me out bc it's huge and obvious but they're constantly using much more complex vocab really easily
