I kind of hate in stories when your main character is given some kind of journal to read and it's clear that it will answer the question to the mystery they're trying to solve and instead of binge reading it in a single sitting (like I certainly would) they sit on for months. I mean I understand why narratively but it still bugs me.

This book is BANANAS. But also, how many times could two people actually run into one another in a single story.

Currently a little worried these two might be related…
