i need to read something cozy. last book emotionally destroyed me.

I went from so disgusted I had to put the book down and walk around the room for a bit, to sobbing my eyes out in couple of pages. I'm not surviving this book!

Why is this book a sequel to the movie, rather than the first novel? Yes, most changes were minor, but it's still disorienting.

I am pondering putting all of the Animorphs books on the disability-and-mental-health shelf, because I've never seen better show of ptsd.
