Sweet and quirky? Uh Sure.

But I am honestly a bit shell-shocked at the fantastical, bizzare and just wildly unrealistic romance painted in these first few chapters. It baffles me how an ADULT WOMAN, in STEM, can be so powerless in her own life/decisions. There’s so much middle school behavior (dares?) exhibited by graduate students, I’m amazed
+ the TEENY DAINTY-F and HUGE MASSIVE-M trope is a little..overplayed

Such a selfish and stubborn mc!! Like wow, it feels like the author intended for her personality to be endearing and valiant..but to me she comes off as SPOILED and I likable. Putting others in so much danger because she “REFUSES to give up on her mission.” And sure, it’s a noble one, but it’s almost like she has ZERO care for the safety of her friends and family as long as it gets her the results she wants.
