Awww 🥹 I knew I was going to like this

Things are more interesting now that we’re at the war camp. The lustiness and dirty banter is at a peak, but thankfully the plot and characters are developing a bit more. Now I can’t put it down.

I’m waiting for his name to not be Kingfisher. And the banter is feeling pretty immature, especially with someone who is supposed to be 1,500+ years old.
Overuse of the f word in my opinion. Not loving the female main character. No slow burn, but straight to uncontrollable sexual lust on her part and risqué language from him that is cringey. This is not what I thought it was going to be. I was promised more plot.
