In so many ways this book is a "Dune-like." In the first 10 pages you have galactic empire, planets ruled by dukes with "family atomics," shield generators to block projectiles, protag is the son of a duke, he would rather be a mentat *scholiast,*, who exist because we had a war for survival with AI, etc. etc. etc.
However, it's using that worldbuilding for a completely different story. I'm here for it tbh.
