Much more personal than The Shock Doctrine and This Changes Everything. Klein elegantly peels back her own identity by exploring the trajectory of her progressive-to-right wing doppelgänger. Her framing of our current moment as one of mirrored opposites is compelling, and I found her final chapters on humanizing our doppelgängers to come together toward a common end to be a worthwhile takeaway.
