im not even halfway through and ive already cried

my first virgina woolf and her writing is absolutely mesmering. she is such an eloquent and stunning wordsmith i cannot wait to keep reading

i love it

honestly loving it - the pretentious, glorious new york society is so enticing and so vivid. i love reading about obnoxious rich people. setting is a lot about a society constrained and restricted by it’s unnecessary rules and expectations - also somewhat mentions the difference in liberation between male and female during thjs time period

my favourite movie and the book IS ADORABLE

it is more interesting that i original expected and tremendously gruesome is some chapters - it caught me off guard
