Listened to audiobook. Hoopla has the book listed as Fiction Contemporary which seems to be used in place of the category Romance. Going to have to remember that since I don't enjoy romance novels and would rate the book poorly when it was just miscategorized.

Narrator goes from speaking so quietly I have to turn the volume up all the way, only to then screech out the dialogue of characters and make me deaf.

The series started put cool with a sci-fi twist but turned into religious story. He was a flawed guy who is now filled with the love of a diety and wants to push it to everyone else. Disappointed as it took a big turn from the original two stories.
