Okay so I’m getting intrigued slowly. The suspense has gotten intense. Flora has been kidnapped. Chapter 20 just connected to chapter 13. One dot connected. Flora is locked in a room with another person trapped in the box. Could it be Stacey Summers? Hmmm

I think it would be a lot better if the chapters were labeled to give a heads up of what’s next. For example, past is written in a different font. That’s fine, but when you’re listening to an audible book (YouTube per se), you don’t see the font style. Then it switches from Flora to D.D. At least label the chapters by name or something. Maybe it’s just me. I guess I’m spoiled by past books.

I find the past part of it boring. But I get that it’s important to be able to understand who Flora is. The present is definitely intriguing. It’s like watching law and order or bones. I would like more humor. So far, it’s very serious. Maybe it’ll lighten up a little bit. I don’t want to give up on it just yet.

I love how she gets right to the suspense but still has a way to leave you wondering what’s going to happen next. I’m excited to see what’s in the future on this one.
