After reading Jinger Duggar’s memoir about coming out of a high control legalistic religious group into a more meaningful and authentic relationship with the Lord (and better understanding of the gospel) I am curious to hear the perspective of a woman who exited Christianity altogether.

I mean girl trust your gut and all that but she literally dumps gasoline everywhere on her way out of a rural gas station because the gas station owner exits the building whilst looking her direction?

I think this is the most cookie cutter stereotypical bland fantasy story I’ve ever read. It’s like when you put too much ice and milk in ur latte and you can’t even taste the coffee anymore

Up until this point his points sound oddly similar to the arguments I’ve heard defending Christianity (as opposed to Catholicism). But I’m also approaching the part about “why we’re not Bible only Christians” and the sacraments and whatnot so I suspect it’ll get weirder

Just to be clear, I am not part of the “we” in “why we’re Catholic” 😂
