I swear Simon is the only character in this book who thinks before he acts. Jace thinks too much (not mad about it) and clary acts like there hasn’t been a single thought in her head since book two.
Still, I find it highly entertaining and the whole plot line where Jace is torturing himself because of his feelings complements nicely with the actual political plot of the book.

On my biannual read of this book. Still has good as the first time I read it.
