this has to be one of the most boring and seemingly pointless texts i've ever read omg. if not for the fact i have to read it for class, i'd have put it down 70 pages ago.

i preffered the second story: "missing" but i do feel like it lacks a point? these stories are entertaining and well-written but just lack a throughline or a point. it constantly makes the reader feel like they are missing something.

first story: a record of a night too brief could probably be moving to people but it is simply too absurdist and confusing to read for me.

wanted a quick read and it's been a while since i went into a book completely blind so i picked this up and so far this is straight up a befuddling fever dream

the time has come to read this 1000 page, 300.000+ word monstrosity and, having read sanderson, i bet by the end i'll wish i could do it all over again

this is FINE but girl there is just NO reason for there to be 100 pages left cmon now let's keep it real

oof 200 pages to go and it's looking rough. was looking forward to this book so much but i just feel like it's your standard romance book without the impeccable yearning and jokes 'love, theroetically' made me love. it might be that in going through a break-up but gosh this escapism is dragging onnnn
