Gbby and her teammates have to work hard to be successful, they especially have to practice a lot to keep on competing in gymnastics. It's not easy doing the gymnastics so they have to work extra hard when the do flips and other things in gymnastics.

Gabby has worked really hard to get to where she is today. She is really happy to do what she does (gymnastics). Her and her team all work together and accomplish a lot.

As Gabby checked up at the leader board several times she was in 1st place. Then finally, there was the last and final results. And there it was, Gabby was in first place! " You're the Olympic champion! You have it." Her coach exclaimed. Gabby was a Winner she was the Olympic Champion!

Hours later Gabby still wore a smile that glowed like the gold metal around her neck. " A lot of pressure was on me today, I did the all-around. I just wanted to go out there and just perform like I did the first day and brush the pressure off and just be my best today." Gabby said.

Two nights later the girls returned to the gymnastics arena with their goals of making history. Once again the team began on vault. Once again the team was great, but unfortunately The Russian team was dominant on the uneven bars. But the team had faith and had done great, they held hands and gathered at the scoreboard. They had won in 1st place!! They smiled, cried, and wave to the cheering crowd.

On July 18th the American girls gymnastics team arrived in London. Gabby and her teammates kept an eye out for athletes they hoped to meet and take pictures with. Before the girls new it, it was the day of the competition. Gabby was excited and was glad to represent USA with her team. Gabby was very calm and confident, she wowed the judged with her award winning vault, on balance beam, and floor routine.

Aibileen is a little upset about what she is hearing. While working she happens to over hear the other white women talking about "bathrooms", they don't like it when the black/ colored maids use their bathrooms. It was kind of offensive to hear knowing that she is a black maid.

Then finally Gabby's training had payed of and it was time for her to go to London for the Olympics. She found out she was in first place. Through out the whole competition she was amazing and very confident in herself. After the Olympics, Gabby, and the other girls from the Olympics went to a camp together to train. It was fun having the girls together, they were always supportive towards each other.

Gabby was so determined to be an Olympic champion. So much that she would even risk leaving her family behind in Virginia to train with a coach named Liang Chow. Gabby's mother was so afraid of Gabby leaving her to stay with a different family in a different community. Just so she could train to be and Olympic competitor. Her mother had to make Gabby's dreams come true so, she did. And Gabby was off to Iowa to train.

After seeing how well gabby was in doing flips and other things that her sister had taught her even without being in gymnastics. Her mom finally decided to put Gabby in gymnastics. Gabby got so well that she even started to compete with other gymnasts when she got older. She soon gained experience in competing against others. She even started to traveled to different places to compete.

It turns out that even before Gabby started gymnastics she was already pretty good at doing flips. Even at 2 years old she did a perfect cartwheel. Her sister "Arielle" begged her mother to but gabby in gymnastics. But her mother feared putting young gabby in gymnastics because Arielle had broken her wrist once and she didn't want gabby to hurt herself too.

Meggie and her father (mo) love to read. Infact they have books all over the house. Everything was fine until a man called "dustfinger" came to the house to speak to Mo the a couple hours later,he was gone. The next day Meggie and Mo had to leave unexpectedly, and Meggie doesn't know what's going on or what "dustfinger" and Mo were talking about that night that they had to leave.

Katniss is listening to the names being called out.Soon after, she volenteers herself to be in the games.Meanwhile her younger sister holds on to her, begging her not to go...
