I fear the author could not pick a plot line and so chose them all. There’s magic (not explored enough, what even is Kits power and now does this even affect the plot), the Irish vs English shit happening through all of modern history, and gossip girl type shit. Felt at times copy and paste from bridgerton too. Also all of the characters are one dimensional and I don’t care about any of them

Not going to mark this as a DNF just yet, but I’m not loving it, especially the changing povs. Feels like too much yet nothing is going on

I wish I had read other peoples reviews before starting this - I’m afraid that the ending is going to be god saves the day :/// thought this was gonna be a dystopian kinda book but it doesn’t seem like it’s gonna be. We’ll see if I actually finish this

Fine I guess? I liked it for a while in the middle and now it’s just the same thing over and over again. Maybe I’m not the biggest fan of fight sequences bc Jesus Christ this book is like 80% fight sequences

Okay finished pt 3… vin’s brother is def still alive and she def has some other kinda power, maybe she’s actually the lord rulers daughter? And kelsior has 500 other plans beneath, I’m thinking that the 11th metal is fake and maybe he is just trying to become a new lord ruler
