Sarah is on page 243 of 264 of Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis
It's an interesting read, and I think an important one for someone who has been told they shall build themselves "up".
This book has made me reflect the stories of success, and successes marksmanship. I am amazed to imagine that, at the age of eighteen, I declared myself independent of my woes and managed to pack my bags and leave from home, where the reality of living in a home with tough love came naturally.

Sarah is finished with Needles: A Memoir Of Growing Up With Diabetes
Useful narrative that I can share with family. My brother's chronic illness led me to choose this memoir from a place of interest and genuine curiosity. The author writes with a directness that provides a sense of her lived reality with the illness, and portraits the truthful pains of reliance on medical professionals. Her illness is her ownership, and that is addressed confidently in her own words.

Sarah is reading The Silent Garden: Raising Your Deaf Child
This offers insight to the experience indirectly from a rich set of resources. The author provides concrete examples deaf people experience, when they are "lost in translation".

Prior exposure provided the motivation for reading this book front to end cover. My mom's experience of hearing loss shapes my experience profoundly, and leads an examination for greater understanding.
