The writing style is beautiful and the plot is very unique albeit a little confusing sometimes, however the pacing feels very off. I don't know where this book is going and frankly, I do feel pretty bored reading this. As for the characters, i love our female lead but again her character growth feels very stagnant. I've yet to fall for our male lead but we'll see how it goes. In the meantime, I'll try not to dnf.

That fcking cliffhanger. I knew it was too good to be true. 4.3 stars just because of the romance, the leads and ALEX CORBEAU GREEN 😭

If it had ended a few chapters ago, I'd have given it a 5 stars but the ending had me ruined. (Its not bad, not at all. But unnecessary, this book could've been a standalone. Now my babies are in pain again when they deserve all the happiness and more.)
