This was super interesting at first. I literally had to do a double read multiple times on the synopsis because I swear at first it seems like something else. Then, all of a sudden, **** hits the fan, and the story is amazing! This is my first book by the author. So far, I love it. Lol.

Not sure why. But this book was great at the beginning.... now it is very much dragging.... hoping to get over that hump here soon!

I am listening to this audibly, and I love it, but I feel like I need to have this in physical form. There are way too many characters to keep track of. With just hearing their names. Lol. I might have to stop and get the book to finish this. There are two people who I know are not new but for the life of me can't remember anything about them. Lol.

Liking this so far! Thought I was going to struggle to get into this. But I'm hooked. I'm a little confused at some points. I'm hoping to understand here soon!

After seeing, they are making a show on this series. Had to reread it! Super said my box adition is in storage!! I had to go to second hand to only find the first two books and another spin-off series I had no idea about! Definitely gonna have to find all those, too!

Wow, this book is amazing!! Exactly what I need before the new Avatar the Last Airbender live-action on Netflix! I really hope there is another book out there like this. I'm going to have the hugest book hangover after this!

Uhhgg these books are so good! I can't get enough of them!! This is by far the best one in the series yet!! I can't wait to finish this and move on to the next one!

This book is great. I was having a lot of fun with it. Than it has kind of dropped off now. There was a really exciting moment but it was over in like 2 pages. Hoping I can blast through these last 100 pages and finish this bad boy. Cause Jim butcher books have been calling me!

So I was trying to find a book to listen to at work. So I scrolled randomly through the books on Spotify. I meant to hit the Graceyard book by him instead of this one. So about 25% of the way through I realized that this was not the book I thought it was. But I'm enthralled with this story! Can't wait to see how this ends! Cause it was giving me short breathiness there for a bit. Lol. Where good now. 🤣

So I tried this physically and could not get past the first 10 or 20 pages. I would keep falling asleep and not getting it. Than I tried it audible!!! Wow!! So much better to listen too! I love this book now!! It is definitely getting me out of my reading slump! I almost crushed the whole book in one day! Probably gonna finish this one up tomorrow. Gotta figure out my next read!

I'm listening to this while playing diablo. It was fine listening too. Now I just feel like I gotta reread a chapter or two. I feel like it jump a bit. Or I missed something. Lol. But enjoying the short listen!

I'm really liking this book! Love all the lore! I need to wrote down all the different vampire subspecies cause I'm sort of getting lost on which is which. Lol. But loving th story! I hate to say it. I like Ana's part of the story more than the main characters. I always get super excited reading her sections of the book. Lol.

One thing I didn't read this fall was a vampire book! I had so many picked out but never got to them. Since we only got less than a month, I thought I'd give this a shot. Especially since it's short. I have been overambitious with my reading recently and overwhelming myself with how many big books I gotta read before the end of year. So thought I'd start with the short ones and go from there. Lol.

Finally picking this one back up! Been two years since I started this. Thought it was finally time to finish it. Plus I want all the books in the series just for they're covers. So I told myself I couldn't by the rest of the series till I've at least read and enjoyed this one. Lol.

Okay for about half this book I had absolutely no idea what was going on. I was so lost. I almost dnf. Than finally we got some explaining. Thank you! Lol. Can't wait to see how this ends. Am I happy to continue I'm not sure. But I'll see it through.
