I know the romance is subplot, BUT THERE'S A LOVE TRIANGLE????????? MAN I TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM LOVE TRIANGLE TROPES, BUT THIS ONE HAS????????? COME ON!!!! But I still liked the plot, so it's worth continuing reading it 😭😭😭😭😭😭

More romance, less mystery. But why would I complain? Kerri Maniscalco hurt me while I was reading Escaping from Houdini. Good thing she reclaimed herself in the fourth book. 😌

One moment I was reeling from a heart attack because of Audrey Rose's and Thomas' romantic notions for each other. The next I was staring at some point in space because I can't fathom why Kerri Maniscalco would do this. Again. That's why I skimmed the last few pages of Escaping from Houdini because of the rift between them. AND NOW????!!!!!!!!! PLEASE CRESSWORTH IS EVERYTHING TO ME 😭

I'm scared to read this although I've read the novella first. Nonetheless, I'm still scared.
