Masculinity is a funny thing. This is a book about birdwatching, yet the little bits about how this man struggles with how to say goodbye to his family amuse me the most.

This won’t sound very progressive of me, but I thought men don’t overthink things so much. Perhaps there’s no space for it or maybe there are more important things to be thought about. Yet this book proves me wrong again and again.

haven't read this man's work before. if Goodreads said i did, i lied. i will have tried, gotten bored and marked it as read for putting in the effort. let's see if this man can tell me something i don't know yet (he said, in not a self-absorbed manner).

i like birds. i like this man's work. i have read Word Watching Watching, so i have an idea of what i'm about to experience. this'll be a smooth rollercoaster with some nice looping loops.

Found a fic that's so incredibly good. I wish to read it over and over and submerge myself in this world.
