I’m not gonna lie, didn’t expect much from the start but this book gets right down to it.

The book Code over Country by Matthew Cole shows us what prolonged fighting, multiple tours, neglect of one’s own mental health, and lack of integrity (or honor depending how you look at it I suppose) can do to people. I am in no way defending what folks mentioned in the book did but it’s hard to analyze these events and ignore the elephant in the room.
