I love the weird structure, how it asks our brain to engage in ways it normally doesn’t when reading prose.

I love Roberge's writing and totally believe in this character and situation. However, I am a little concerned about the wrinkled chronology and all the jumping back in time. I'm losing track of where I am, when. But I'll absolutely keep with it to see where the ride leads!

Started out interesting enough, but is really starting to drag. It feels like they really only had enough material for a short (novella-length) book, but were required by the publisher to fill it out with fluff. I'll probably just pick it up from time-to-time from now on.

This is the point where I asked myself if I really want to read a book about child sex abuse? Especially one that mot reviewers say is basically plotless.I've put it down for now, and will see if it calls me back.
