i forgot this is told in the perspective of mello…i was like why is the narrator being so mean to near💀also catcher in the rye reference!!

c kira story was interesting because we never learned who it was. near grappling with the fact that he is the new L while making a tarot card tower was silly. i love near. i like how we get a page from ryuk quoting light about how a human who uses the notebook has to be emotionally strong and have conviction.

you can really feel the ww1 influence in this chapter

legolas in this chapter was funny. its all chaos and hes just singing to himself.

That was one lengthy introduction. Enjoyed it and thought there were some brilliant lines to describe whitman.

Gandalf being funny in this chapter. Sam being so distraught over bill is actually so sad.😭
