Just finished the introduction. The introduction acts as a disclaimer. A critique I have so far is that it focuses only on the European/North American world. I'm not surprised but it would be good to learn about how women have been perceived historically around the world. The intro. also says it tries to be an entry point for the reader to engage in more feminist literature.

I have not been paying attention looool. I've absorbed nothing. XD

Ughh, the main character's the type to have an attitude when she's upset and ruin the vibe because she's upset. Hate that. I get why she's upset in context and she has a right to be but this is a selfish way to act and I'm not a fan. She also had the chance to follow up on it but only followed up on half of it so it seems hypocritical rn. Hoping she'll follow up on the other half soon.

Got a notification that this book is due back to the library in 4 days? I'm like "que? I just got this?"
Then I get another notification from the library saying Gone Girl is due in 7 days and I'm like "que??? I just got this?"

Lol, I've been setting weeklong check out times for my books recently to really force myself to read through my books quickly and not procrastinate them forever.
