Similar to many of my other reviews I have put this book off for years because of my tendency to avoid things I know will make me super emotional :) BUT The Women was one of my favorite books I read last year, I’m fresh off watching Band of Brothers for the first time and I’m kinda in a reading slump so it is now my time. I’m ready. Bring it on

I’ve been waiting to get my reading mojo back so I can properly enjoy this book and its FUCKING BACK so let’s go I’m so excited

Went to see the rerelease of twilight in theaters last week and am inspired to read this series for the first time since I was maybe 12 years old. I’m also doing this to avoid Morning Star because the last chapter I read was so devastating I got snot all over my shirt

Couple things to say.
1. I quit my reread of the hunger games upon finnick being introduced in catching fire because I decided to prioritize my well being and not get attached again
2. The time has come I’m finally reading this series in hopes it’ll pull me out of this SLUMP

This is what I feared would happen. The floodgates are back open and I’m rereading this series!!!!!! Somehow even though I’ve rewatched the movies 100 times I haven’t reread these books since elementary/middle school so here we go!!!! I don’t think I can read haymitch’s name without tearing up tho

I forgot I don’t really fuck with time travel romance types but it’s pretty good so far!

I honestly think the reason it takes me so long to finish the books in this series is because once I actually sit down and start reading them I become in a literal trance because they are so fucking epic
