So, I am doing a full fletcher verse reread (or in this case first read) in chronological order. Im struggling early on to see how this could possibly be tied to the fantasy series that come after. Guess ill keep reading and piece it together as it the picture becomes more clear!

Doing a buddy read for this trilogy. And we're doing three chapters a day, which is strange for me because I am a binge reader, usually reading for like six hours at a time if im enjoying the book. First thoughts? Really like Ruka, and Amit. Kale is going to grow on me im sure but hes my least favorite character thus far. Wish I could keep reading but gotta keep pace with the others reading this with me. Great start!

I full anticipated flying thru this in 2 or 3 days. Turns out im rather enjoying taking my time, seeing as this is the end, and I really dont want it to end. I am absolutely loving this book thus far, may end up in my top 5 of all time if the ending nails the landing.

This is incredible, and im only quarter done. I know there is SO much to come, I know the end, we have since the very first lines of empire of silence. But now that we're finally reaching the end after all the tragedy and grief that has befallen hadrian marlowe, there lies some hope. Hope for a better tomorrow for mankind. Will that happen? Only the remaining 75% will tell. Always forward. Always down.

Woke up at 1am thinking the audiobook would be in my library. Nope, had to wait until 3am, so I just read some manga while impatiently checking the clock every few minutes. Now that its here, and I dont need to work until Friday I shall be doing nothing until im done with this, easily one of my most anticipated books of all time. Didn't realize this was over 1300 pages. Lets fucking goooo. To Gododdin, and the end!

This is my first entry into the world of webtoons. Ive i only read the prologue and chapter 1, so I have zero opinions on the story so far. But rhe amount of friends who have suggested the series to me is getting absurd at this point that I had to start it. Will report back with updates rather further I get into it. I really hope it lives up to the hype otherwise I'll be upset. My next webtoon? Tower of God

Oh my GOD i fuckin haaaate Lyon. I know at this point that is very, VERY intentional but holy shit. Andreas voice for her is so shrill, its amazing how wide this woman's range is.

Ive really enjoyed everything about this book EXCEPT for the one chapter about sex. That was fucking painful. Holy shit.

I literally just looked at the page count for this book. 1700 pages?! Lmao. Longest book ive ever read by several hundred pages. 61 hour audiobook. Ill be done in a week or so, depending on how much I work, and how much reading (not manga) I am inclined to do. Definitely not complaining though, I love this world

Im all in, I adore all the characters thus far. Andrea is one of the best narrators ive ever heard. Its a shame she had to pass the baton off due to burnout, but I still have so so so many hours of her left to listen to, so no need to fret just yet.

So, on a whim I decided to start the longest series ever penned. I am currently 17 PUBLISHED volumes behind. All of which are absolute doorstops of 1k+ pages each. And thats not even half of what pirateaba has written so far. Im also reading a ten book series by tchaikovsky, which just looks quaint now. Malazan looks quaint. The cosmere looks quaint. Rote, quaint. Discworld, quaint. What have I decided to undertake?!

Im hooked, and tchaikovsky's imagination is just next level. Strong feeling im going to fly thru this series!

I've got roughly 8 hours left in the audibook and an eleven hour shift today. Will be finishing this today or tomorrow morning at the latest. Really enjoying this one so far, lorian is still my second favorite character, hes so clever. Cassandra on the other hand I am VERY indifferent toward

Lets fucking goooo. Dregs of empire was a fantastic novella. But I couldn't help but be anxious to get back to the main storyline. Ive heard this book is wild. Ive read books 3/4/5 in the past two weeks, will likely finish this in a few days. Then I guess ill just have to read another series until shadows upon time releases in November. This is easily a top 5 series for me now. Truly soecial

I haven't been this engrossed with a series since I read malazan. And thats saying a lot.
