So happy to find this book. I love books set in Appalachia with a touch of magic/lore to them. Sharyn McCrumb blends her magic/lore so seamlessly into the the story. Also love the fact that I know the area where the book takes place.

Curious about this. I have not read a Grisham with a female lead before.

This is not what I was expecting. It is not food in history but how the changes in food changed society. Very interesting.

Interesting alternate history/fantasy. Really enjoying the magic and location.
