This book is insightful and the author is fearless, but it is also wounding. I have a boundless relationship with creativity, but a complicated relationship with the womb and an overall ill body. It’s kind of hard to exit from the self-hate and shame, as the author wishes, while she places so much value on the womb.

While this is still a worthwhile read, I could not recommend it to trans or asexual friends.
