Decided to pick this up again after three years to simply remove it from my virtual reading shelf on here. It’s incredibly obvious to me why I didn’t finish it in 2023. ‘My Eyes’ is also a terrible nickname and I’m not sure Elizabeth I would have used it every two seconds as alleged here. Finished my degree and am completely unemployed so will be reading lots more now thank GOD

I finished this book after trying to read it for 3 years. It was kind of funny sometimes- I might just be too thick to understand the funny bits. Also women were only prostitues and/or semi naked when present. Think there was one named woman in whole book. Is it ironic? I don’t know. Maybe I’ll read another and everything will change.

Ngl guys progress is hard on this book it’s just so boring, I will be powering on tho so I’ll let u know when I finish. If I don’t it’s because I’ve either died of boredom or thrown the book away.
