Dnf’ing cause I’ve read enough. Aside from the misogyny, homophobia (the f slur being thrown around so much) and then rape too, this book has such a lack of plot and characterization (River first portrayed as like the golden boy happy guy and Rain being like the troubled, terrible emotionally distraught individual). Genuinely after a while just asked myself why keep reading when the chapters aren’t good.

I don’t know how to feel about this so far. I’m not wowed but I am slightly entertained so far because I clearly keep reading it

Dnf’ing. If I knew this book was insta-love with inner monologues that did nothing to move the plot along then I would’ve stopped long ago. I even jumped a couple chapters ahead and they STILL didn’t execute their plan yet. I’m okay in not finding out what happens at the end

Dnf’ing cause I don’t think the writing is for me at all. Also I do think this type of book you gotta read in series cause I wasn’t attached to anyone and found the other brothers just too annoying to love
