I decided to read this one again after a trip to Denmark. I first read it in October, 2016.

I am not going to finish this one. I am not in the mood for a queer romance. Plus this book lacks the writing style. I really appreciate from this author. This is a do not finish for me.

I would give 3.5 stars if that was an option. I enjoyed an alien’s perspective of humans as he is on a mission in Cambridge. The best part was the last few pages as he doles out advice for a human teen who is his “son.”

And I got my happy ending.

Book club book for school. Finished with 2 days to spare!

I'm not going to finish this one. I am not enjoying it. There is too much bloody description and I am not feeling it. Plus, Gary Paulsen had a tendency to go into too much details in his memoirs.

I’m abandoning this book that I had waited months to get from the library! After loving the first books in this series, I had high hopes for this one. It is dragging and has too many parts.

Life is too short to read a book I’m not enjoying!
