Finished Books 1 & 2 of Solomon. The Catholic translation, if I had to guess, is not the best, because the story is awesome but the narrative style is clunky and hard to get absorbed in.

On to 1 & 2 Kings which has been smoother to read.

Finished Judges; on to the Book of Ruth.

Finished the Pentateuch; on to the Book of Joshua. It is violent.

Finished Numbers; on to Deuteronomy.

Guys. This book is incredible. So fun. So messed up. So horrific. Kept me up a bit last night. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it until now.
