In The Hobbit, when Bilbo finds the Ring, do you think it deliberately chose to be found, or did Gollum truly lose it by accident? At the end of the tunnel, the Ring seemed to play a trick on Bilbo, suggesting it’s capable of such acts, could it have intentionally escaped from Gollum?
