Not like the movie. But it inspired me to stop being so reserved and actually go for what I wanted instead of being stagnant.

it took almost half the book for Nikki and Cole to start their journey. now it's going at the speed of light.

so now Nikki is looking for Cole. I glanced a few pages ahead and discovered he find her first. good. I would have grown bored if it took too long for her to find him.

so excited to find out more about Nikki and how she will deal with Cole if he comes back again.

This is one of the few novels I've read where the girl is not a virgin but the guy is. Must have felt a bit awkward for Ryan. He was probably comparing himself to Luke the whole time. "was Luke bigger than me? Am I going too fast? Is she thinking of Luke?".

I feel like the love between Beth and Ryan is more likely lust from teenage hormones.

I'm liking this book more and more. love how Ryan is so eager to win but he doesn't act like a jerk to Beth. Poor Beth. She thinks the world is out to get her. If I lived the life she did I might feel that way too.

liking Beth slunk and Ryan is pretty slick with his words. I was a bit surprised by how messed up Beth's mother truly is. I'm not squeamish by any means, but the story of Beth's mother's boyfriend abusing both her mother AND Beth made me squirm. A lot has been revealed in less than a quarter of this book.

Travis so controlling with a nasty temper. Abba is the most annoying and selfish damsel I've ever read about (except Demon Girl aka Glamour. Wanted to smack her in the face). Glad to be finished with this greatly disappointing book.

The movie was great. Now I'm trying to get through this thick book just to learn more about the incest. Might as well fast forward instead of reading 700 more pages....no, I am going to read it....in a year or two

Not far in. I only started this because Blood Ties got cancelled on TV with a big (at least for me) cliff hanger. still getting to know the characterS.

Will this ever end? Since the book was never printed I can't mentally estimate how thick it is in person. It is also self - edited so there are tons of gaps and mistakes. I have to rewind because the scenes become so far apart they don't make any sense.

I'm still confused as to how (SPOILER) Cassia was miraculously accepted by the Society after practically being banished in book 2.

it's been so long I can barely remember the plot

At first I was disappointed and totally turned off by the cold heartless hero. Now that his heart is starting to thaw I am liking him more. Loved the sweet heroine from the start.
